Puma clutch judder and rattle at idle
Will get worse if left.
Symptoms
Judder pulling away, a rattle at idle that goes when the clutch is pressed, or a heavy knock when switching off.
Likely cause
Wear in the dual mass flywheel or clutch, often accelerated by towing and low-speed off-road use.
Suggested fixes
Listed roughly in the order most owners try them.
- 1
